More About Peacebuilders
Tomorrow’s Leaders. Today’s Peacebuilders.
Peace Renaissance — Youth Peacebuilders
For social, political and intellectual transformation for climate change and peace.
Peace is more than just the absence of violence and is of universal concern. There is a symbiotic relationship between peace, security, development and human rights. Peacebuilding addresses both the symptoms of violence and the underlying causes of inequality and social injustice.
For young people, peace and security are deeply personal, connected with wellbeing, dignity, hope, belonging and the absence of fear. Peacebuilding must also confront environmental instability and the risks of climate change for future generations.
